who we are
GraceLife began at Towson University as the Baptist Campus Ministry (BCM) in 2011. The name changed in 2016, but we continue to function as the Southern Baptist ministry presence on campus. In partnership with the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware (BCMD), we endeavor to partner with and connect students to local Southern Baptist churches. In 2024, our ministry was adopted by Valley Baptist Church in Timonium.

GraceLife Collegiate believes that a staff team is required to make investments in the lives of students. Students need coaching and mentorship as they learn to lead in ministry.
College churches may be started. The staff may partner with a particular campus organization for a time to help it develop, and the staff may lead students to work with different mission opportunities. It is the staff, however, that maintains the goals and purposes of the ministry.
